Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.

Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to arise
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these sunken eyes and learn to see
All your life
You were only waiting for this moment to be free.

Rockin' Robin
Bobby Day

He rocks in the tree-top all a day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singin' the song
All the little birds on J-Bird St.
Love to hear the robin goin' tweet tweet tweet

Rockin' robin (tweet tweet tweet)
Rockin' robin (tweet tweet tweet)
Oh rockin' robin well you really gonna rock tonight

Every little swallow, every chickadee
Every little bird in the tall oak tree
The wise old owl, the big black crow
Flapping them wings sayin' go bird go

A wordy little raven at the bird's first dance
Taught him how to do the bop and it was grand
He started goin' steady and bless my soul
He out popped the buzzard and the oriole

He rocks in the tree-top all a day long
Hoppin' and a-boppin' and a-singin' the song
All the little birds on J-Bird St.
Love to hear the robin goin' tweet tweet tweet

Just thought I'd lighten the mood a little, yikes!!!

Is there some sort of "freak blondie out with the bird photos" conspiracy going on today?

Check out Stalks blog today. Also a bird.

GAH! At least hers is just walking slowly and is alone. Flying things freak me the hell out!

~ blondie <-- who really is giggling.

GAH! Flying things. They just freak me out. Seriously.

Yesterday on my way out to get the mail my kid came with me. He looks up and sees 3 birds flying about and he says "look out mom, they are coming for you." He is such a brat.
