You ARE silly. I figure the paddle serves two purposes. For paddling when up shit creek and for beating the hell out of people when they piss you off. Its multi-functional!

But in some cases with he whom I co-habit ... I am BEYOND the beating point. A whack over the head to beat sense into him... would be useless. And ya know.... I just don't care. However the use of a multifunctioning paddlle is always a good thing.
As a woman I find defensive weaponry a good idea..... never mind the paddling! (-:
